Beginner and Intermediate archery classes are offered through the Gilbert Parks and Rec Department but taught by the certified archery coaches from Gilbert Archery. They are a series of weekly lessons grouped together for a lower cost. Many of these do have an equipment fee so please read the sign-up carefully. Free Try Archery for Free Lesson
These free lessons are for adults and children (10yrs+), that have not taken a lesson with us before. Try Archery is required before taking other group lessons. There is a $20 deposit that will be refunded when you attend your scheduled lesson. No refunds for canceled, rescheduled, or no-show lessons.
Beginner and Intermediate
These lessons are for adults and children (10yrs+) that are new to archery. Learn basic fundamentals of a good shot while building strength and accuracy.
These group lessons are for women 18 years and older. Lessons are for all levels and are fun way to spend Friday evenings.
Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a program of USA Archery that helps archers to enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition!
Archery Achievement pins can be earned as each archer develops. Gilbert Archery hosts a pin shoot once per month where an archer can earn his or her pin. Also, pins can be earned at tournaments.
